Welcome to Future Ready: Dream Big Vision Board Workshop!

We are so excited to have you here today. This experience was created to help our students pause, imagine, and begin to see themselves as readers, leaders, creators, and problem-solvers.

Today, students will work in grade-level groups to explore their dreams, strengths, and goals in ways that make sense for their age. Through guided conversations, creativity, and hands-on activities, they’ll build a vision board that reflects who they are now and who they are becoming.

At the National Literacy Institute, we believe that when children can see their future, they are more motivated to read, learn, and lead with confidence. This workshop is not about perfection—it’s about possibility, voice, and believing that their dreams matter.

2026 Future Ready: Dream Big Vision Board Workshop

🌟 Event Description

Future Ready: Dream Big Vision Board Workshop is a hands-on, engaging experience designed to help children clarify their goals, build confidence, and begin thinking intentionally about their future.

During this interactive workshop, students will participate in grade-level sessions where activities, language, and goal-setting are developmentally appropriate. Through guided conversations, creativity, and structured reflection, students will create a personalized vision board that reflects their interests, strengths, and dreams—both inside and outside of school.

This is more than an arts-and-crafts event. Students will be encouraged to connect their dreams to reading, learning, leadership, and personal responsibility, helping them understand how daily habits support long-term success.

Parents will love that this experience builds motivation, focus, and a positive mindset, while students leave feeling empowered, proud, and excited about their future.

Three Sessions Available (Choose One):

🕘 9:00–11:00 AM → Grades K–3
🕐 1:00–3:00 PM → Grades 4–8
🕒 3:30–5:30 PM → High School Only

All materials are provided. Students will take home their completed vision board and goal-setting tools.

🎯 Purpose of the Workshop

The purpose of Future Ready: Dream Big Vision Board Workshop is to help students:

Develop age-appropriate goal-setting skills
Build confidence and self-awareness
See themselves as capable readers, learners, and leaders
Connect dreams to daily actions and positive habits
Learn alongside peers in supportive, grade-level groups

By creating a visual representation of their goals, students begin to understand that their future is something they can actively shape—starting now.

Registration Fees

K–8: $45 per student
High School: $65 per student
Sibling Bundles (K–8):
- 2 children: $80
- 3 children: $110

The Future Ready: Dream Big Vision Board Workshop is a guided, interactive experience designed to help children pause, imagine, and begin thinking about their goals with confidence and excitement.

During this workshop, students will participate in grade-level activities that help them explore their dreams, strengths, and interests in ways that are fun, creative, and developmentally appropriate.

What Children Will Experience

Dreams & Possibilities
Children will be encouraged to think about who they want to become, what they enjoy learning, and what makes them proud. Through guided prompts, they’ll begin shaping their ideas into clear, positive goals.

Goals & Growth
Students will learn how small choices—like reading, practicing skills, and staying focused—help turn dreams into reality. Activities will emphasize effort, perseverance, and believing in themselves.

Creative Expression
Using images, words, and hands-on materials, students will design a personalized vision board that represents their hopes for school, learning, friendships, and the future.

Confidence & Voice
In a supportive environment, children will have opportunities to share their ideas, celebrate their goals, and build confidence alongside peers in their grade band.

Connection & Encouragement
Students will work with classmates their age, fostering positive connections, teamwork, and encouragement as they learn together.
